We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our expanding lettings & property management department as a Lettings Advisor, working with our team here in our Taunton branch. The position covers maternity leave but may extend beyond 12 months depending on the requirements of the business.
The main duties of the Lettings Advisor will include:
1. Manage an existing portfolio of properties, and help proactively grow our register.
2. Carry out property inventories and check-outs.
3. Carry out various administration duties and meet specific deadlines including creating property details and property reports.
4. Dealing with telephone, internet and walk-in enquiries from customers.
5. Managing client expectations including arrangement of viewings, feedback and any ad hoc queries as they arise.
6. Conducting viewing appointments and providing feedback.
Key skills & traits you will need to demonstrate include:
1. Accuracy and a keen eye for detail are integral to this role.
2. The ability to work with tight legislative guidelines.
3. Able to prioritise, diary manage and work under pressure.
4. Good IT skills including Microsoft Office.
5. To be friendly, helpful, motivated and proactive.
6. Smart appearance, punctual and well organised.
7. A full, clean driving licence & own vehicle.
8. Relevant work experience & industry knowledge would be beneficial but full training will be provided.
Hours of work are Monday – Friday 9.30 – 2.30pm and every other Saturday 9 – 2pm.
For the successful applicant, ongoing comprehensive training & development will be provided.
