The position of Transport Administrator involves:
Working with the Customer Service Team to ensure deliveries are scheduled as per customer requirements.
Working with the Customer Service Team in the event delays or issues are encountered to ensure good communication with the customer.
Booking in customer deliveries in a timely manner.
Managing, briefing and de-briefing drivers.
Assisting the transport team in dealing with delivery issues and vehicle breakdowns as required.
Supporting the team with keeping the Pallet Networks systems up to date.
Responding to customer emails and phone queries in a timely manner.
Processing customer requests and inputting data on various systems.
General administration duties to include processing driver's paperwork.
Printing and preparing labels for drivers' pallets and preparing the manifests for onward delivery.
Assisting with KPI information analysis.
You will be the main point of contact for customers, drivers, and internal teams.
The job can be fast-paced and pressurised, but you will receive the support and training needed to be successful in the role.Essential skills required for Transport Administrator:
Previous experience working in a transport environment to include knowledge of working time directive and EU driver's hours.
Excellent organisational skills and prioritising workload.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Attention to detail is crucial and working to deadlines daily.
Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Why ARR Craib Transport Ltd?
Salary for Transport Administrator is between £26,000pa - £28,000pa, depending on experience.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:30hrs - 17:30hrs.
