Maintenance Technician
Overview: The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in the efficient resolution of maintenance issues in line with the company's preventative maintenance plan. This includes fault finding and breakdown repairs, as well as support for the external maintenance program.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
2. Perform fault-finding and breakdown repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
3. Follow and contribute to the company's preventative maintenance plan.
4. Support external maintenance programs when required.
Requirements:
1. Completion of an approved apprenticeship with a relevant Level 3 Mechanical/Electrical Qualification, or equivalent engineering qualification.
2. At least 3 years' post-apprenticeship experience in a hands-on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance and engineering role.
3. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address issues across a variety of equipment and machinery.
4. Experience and understanding of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
5. Proficiency in fault-finding using wiring diagrams.
6. In-depth knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment.
