Talent-UK are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Mirfield for an experienced Customer Service Co-ordinator to join their busy and ever expanding well established team on a full time, permanent basis.
The role will pay Circa 25-30k per annum DOE, Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 3.45pm. The role also comes with a mobile phone and laptop which is provided to you.
There is also an option with the role to work from home 1 day per week if preferred.
The purpose of the role is to provide exceptional customer service to a dedicated account of customers and ensure that customers receive their orders on the dates expected and also resolve any issues or problems that may arise throughput the process.
The key tasks, responsibilities and accountabilities for the post holder include:
* Processing of sales orders in a timely and accurate manner, providing cover across the department during holidays and busy periods
* Acknowledge orders back to the customer, advising them of any quantity changes, changes to delivery dates, etc.
* Amend orders already placed, ensuring that production and transport are kept informed of any changes.
* Advise customers of any shortages on deliveries and advising when delivery to them can be made.
* Book in deliveries. Sending copies of delivery notes, ensuring they are signed and returned.
* Maintain the complaints and returns database and raising returns notes.
* Investigation of any customer complaints regarding supply of orders, escalating to the Customer Service Manager if necessary.
* Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
* Streamline shipping and transportation processes
* Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
* Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
* Receives products and coordinates delivery
* Prepares loads for shipment
* Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels
* Takes steps to avoid quality control issues
Key Competencies for the role -
* Previous experience working within a customer service/supply chain role within the manufacturing industry - Preferred
* Experience using SAP or a bespoke order processing system - Preferred
* Microsoft Excel knowledge - Essential
* Extremely Organised - Essential
* Methodical
* Accurate
* Good Team Player - ability to multitask
* Excellent Communication skills
