Responsibilities:
1. Timely and efficient release of Outbound pick volume & targeted replenishment work to ensure optimal workflow and resource utilization within the Goods out operation.
2. Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to identify and eliminate problems preventing orders from being released on time (linked to inaccurate SKU attributes or other systemic inaccuracy).
3. Coordinate with the Operation to ensure timely closure of all outbound freight carrier transactional requirements (transport units -TUs) and the updating of all relevant stakeholders, incl. Carriers, Customer and IMEX, to meet individual Carrier cut-off requirements (OTS).
4. Take all necessary steps to produce and distribute reports linked to site workload, productivity, headcount and KPI reports to all relevant parties in a timely fashion.
5. Monitor the conveyor performance (Scada) and notify Engineers on site of any problems which may impact on the performance on the operation / customer SLAs.
6. Monitor and maintain tote release and conveyor zone capacity using Vision system.
7. Liaise with warehouse supervisors and team leaders to maximize efficiency through appropriate allocation of people and resources during PM Operation.
8. Deal with operator and carrier implant queries, where appropriate, to minimize down time.
9. Identify opportunities for system and process improvements to improve standards of performance.
10. Liaise with Sales and Customer Services team by e-mail, phone and ASM tool to address customer queries.
11. Clearly communicate with the internal stakeholders via radio and phone.
12. Support with training new / less experienced team members on the use of SAP and WMS systems as well as other WCT functions. Assist with booking and maintaining delivery slots for Retail and Production customers.
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
1. Detailed understanding of Logistics processes.
2. Knowledge of warehouse management systems, SAP and EWM in particular.
3. Good knowledge of MS Office, incl. Outlook and Excel.
4. Analytical thinking.
5. Solid and proven problem-solving skills.
6. Experience in logistics / operations. Knowledge of databases, Analysis for Business (AfB) is an advantage.
