This role will be a key player in our current transformation linking together stores, head office and the implementation teams with store refits and new store openings. Reporting into the Director of Stores, you will have overall responsibility for creating a strong performance culture, connecting our products with our communities maximising sales and profitability, whilst being an advocate for colleague wellbeing. The Role: Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Direct line management of Store Managers throughout the Region Ensuring the Regions commercial & operational priorities are aligned with the company vision. Store Operations: continuously reviewing best practise and finding efficiencies to enhance profit and operational/commercial solutions. Drive sales and KPI performance across stores. Encourage a fun and empowering environment, ensuring colleagues and customers are at the heart of everything you do. Talent management, grow strong talent pipelines to deliver succession plans. Being a coach / mentor to the instore teams and leaders within Region. Keep listening and learning, be the voice of the colleagues to aid business decisions. Champion DEI and ensure H&B is accessible for all. Ensure all stores operate legally with a focus on health and safety. Stay informed about industry competitors, analysing their strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities to maintaining a competitive edge. The Person: To be successful, we'd like you to show us that you have: Retail Leadership and Operations experience in a multi-site, fast paced, high growth environment. Proven track record of managing 20 stores. Experience in New Store Openings Experience of managing P&L including sales, staff and shrink budgets. Excellent communication and influencing skills. A strong commercial awareness Ambition to continually drive the business forward. A real passion for building a strong team.
