Duties and Responsibilities The role of a management consultant is varied. Typical activities, undertaken as part of a team, include: Carry out strategic and / or technology diagnostics of clients’ real estate operating platform Develop Real Estate-related strategic initiatives at an organisational, operational and IT level Define and gather requirements for and support the selection of Real Estate software solutions Plan and implement software solutions and the associated business process changes. Request for Proposal (RFP) development and analysis Essential Job Functions Work with recognised Real Estate Corporate functions, Real Estate Investments Trusts, Institutional Investors, Owner/Occupiers, etc. in varying industry segments including office, retail, PRS, student housing and industrial/logistics. Undertake diagnostic analysis from a Real Estate operational process and IT effectiveness view. Perform Real Estate-related strategic planning at organisational, operational and IT levels. Suggest and implement Real Estate-related leading practices and process improvements. Define Real Estate requirements for software solutions. Implement Real Estate software solutions and associated process changes. Requirements 8 - 10 years of real estate industry and/or consulting experience. Operational experience in investment management; residential or commercial Experience working with real estate ERP system(s) such as Yardi or MRI Experience in property or fund accounting Advanced analytical capabilities such as Power Query and SQL Bachelor- or Master-level qualifications in a relevant discipline from a recognised academic institution (ideally 2:1 or above) Must be open to some travel (to be discussed during the interview process) Must possess effective communication skills (both written and verbal) Excellent written and spoken English; foreign (especially European) languages are a plus. Capabilities in the Microsoft Toolset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
