An exciting opportunity for a part or fully qualified ACCA / ACA Accountant to join a modern and growing accountancy firm in Reading is now available.
Having recently received substantial investment, this Reading based firm is now looking to increase their client list and grow their accountancy team. This role will manage a portfolio of varied clients, completing all year-end accounts preparation, VAT returns, and general bookkeeping.

Requirements:
* This role would be ideal for someone part or newly qualified.
* Recent experience working within a UK accountancy practice is essential.
* A minimum of 3 years experience working in an accountancy practice.
* Experience preparing year-end accounts is essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the confidence to work closely with clients.
Duties:
* Oversee the management of a diverse portfolio of clients, providing exceptional client service and maintaining strong relationships.
* Be responsible for the preparation of clients' year-end accounts, quarterly VAT returns, and corporation tax.
* Conduct regular financial reviews with clients, offering strategic advice to support their business objectives.
* Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and offer proactive advice.
* Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment. (Dependent on the role holder's current level)
