Right Now Group are working with a leading fine arts logistics and freight forwarding company specialising in the transportation, packing, and storage of high-value artwork. They work with museums, galleries, auction houses, and private collectors to ensure safe and efficient handling of fine art shipments worldwide.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Fine Arts Warehouse Administrator to support their logistics team in managing the transportation and delivery of fine art shipments and handling admin. The ideal candidate will have experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or fine arts handling, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and IT Literate.
Salary: £27,000
Location: Feltham
Hours: Mon-Fri (8.30am til 5pm)
Key Responsibilities of a Fine Arts Warehouse Administrator:
* Oversee packing, crating, and transportation schedules, working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
* Act as a liaison between clients, customs brokers, and carriers to provide updates and resolve issues.
* Assist with storage logistics, inventory tracking, and warehouse coordination as needed.
* Troubleshoot shipment delays, damages, or logistical challenges with proactive solutions.
* Maintain shipment records, update databases, and generate reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills for a Fine Arts Warehouse Administrator:
* Previous experience in operations, logistics, or freight forwarding (experience in fine arts logistics preferred).
* Strong understanding of international shipping, customs procedures, and documentation.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software.
* Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of fine arts handling, conservation, or museum standards is a plus.
