Our busy Lettings and Property Management Team are looking for a dynamic Lettings Negotiator/Property Manager.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and focused person with a professional approach and a hard-working attitude. You must have the ability to work independently or as part of a team and possess exceptional organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal. You will possess strong customer service skills and enjoy working in a busy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing rental properties which involves liaising with tenants, landlords, and contractors on a daily basis; therefore, it is essential you have excellent time management skills and are committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service.
Your main duties will include:
* Assisting tenants progressing through application to move in
* Being a point of contact for existing tenants on our managed properties
* Dealing with walk-in, phone, and email enquiries
* Arranging Property Inspections, Inventories, and Check-out Reports
* Organising and checking Safety Certificates
* Preparing and processing Tenancy Agreements
* Management of rent arrears
* Renewing existing tenancies as and when required
* Liaising between landlords and tenants to provide a quick response to tenants on maintenance issues
* Arranging maintenance works and instructing contractors where required
* Keeping our management system up to date and notifying tenants/landlords every step of the way
* Completion of inspection reports and inventories and uploading photo evidence to our maintenance system
* Providing a first-class service, always to both tenants and landlords
* Approaching new landlords/clients and offering our services
* Other associated tasks
Desirable qualifications include Level 2/3 Business Administration NVQ or equivalent. It is essential candidates are I.T. literate and competent in the use of Microsoft Applications. A driving licence is essential for this position.
