Senior Rehabilitative Audiologist/Hearing Therapist

Come and join our friendly department in a beautiful part of the country! We are seeking a suitably experienced Hearing Therapist/Senior Rehabilitative Audiologist to work in this busy department, which covers all aspects of paediatric and adult audiology across a large urban and rural community, following the retirement of our long-serving therapist. You will be expected to have either the recognised Hearing Therapy qualification or a BSc in Audiology with recognised higher training and post-graduate education in rehabilitative audiology. Given the changes in education and training over time, of course equivalent experience and qualifications will be considered. Plymouth is a vibrant city, and we have a wide variety of excellent leisure facilities on our doorstep.

Responsibilities
* Provides clinical service in rehabilitation of adults with hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis and related conditions, and diagnostic service for patients of all ages.
* Assists with clinical supervision and training of staff.
* Updates own professional knowledge, keeping abreast of new technology and rehabilitation methods.
* Undertakes audiometric tests on in/outpatients (for dual qualified staff).
