Job Opportunity: Senior Site Engineer/Sub Agent
Location: Burham
Salary: Up to £55,000 plus package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Site Engineer/Sub Agent to join a Tier 1 contractor working within the Southern Water framework. Based on-site in Burham, this role involves leading and coordinating site operations to ensure projects meet health, safety, quality, environmental (HSQE), program, and budget requirements.
This role does not require a polished background as a Sub Agent-enthusiasm, capability, and a willingness to learn are highly valued. The position offers significant career progression and development opportunities within a leading organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
·Supervise works to uphold the highest standards of Health and Safety.
·Verify accurate setting out prior to the commencement of work.
·Ensure all Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) are approved before works start.
·Review drawings and specifications to identify and escalate any errors or omissions.
·Maintain the program schedule, identifying opportunities for efficiency.
·Record resources, monitor outputs, and track performance against project milestones.
·Keep a detailed and accurate daily site diary, including variations and changes.
·Review and enforce inspection and test plans, RAMS, and other control measures.
·Liaise effectively with programmers, commercial teams, health and safety specialists, clients, and contractors.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
·Recognized Civil Engineering or Site Management qualifications.
·Health, Safety, and Environmental certifications (e.g., IOSH).
·CSCS Site Manager certification (minimum).
·First Aid at Work certification.
·Proven experience in the Water/Wastewater Treatment sector.
·Triple STS qualification.
