About the job:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee and guide development efforts on a project. This role involves working with developers, product managers, and the CTO to drive project success while being hands-on wherever needed. Strong understanding of Node.js development and a proven track record of successful product launches are essential. Additionally, the role involves adapting to a modular development pattern and building on top of the Holepunch peer-to-peer stack for our projects. Prior experience with peer-to-peer stack is great to have.
Responsibilities:
* Lead, oversee and plan day-to-day development activities.
* Collaborate with developers, product and leadership to ensure smooth project execution.
* Guide the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
* Provide guidance and resolve technical issues when required.
* Ensure timely delivery according to project timelines.
* Drive improvements in process and practices.
* Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.
* 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing multiple projects.
* 2+ years of experience in software development (Node.js).
* Basic understanding of peer-to-peer systems is essential.
* Basic experience with Python, C++ and Rust is good to have.
* Proven experience launching successful products.
* Strong understanding of system architecture, microservices and good development practices.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
* Experience in handling developers of varying experience levels.
* Experience with modern dev practices: CI/CD, automated testing, agile.
