Occupational Therapy
This post provides an exciting opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic therapist to join the OT service within the East locality based at the Knoll community hospital in Duns.
Experience in providing occupational therapy to orthopaedic, neurology, medicine of the elderly, acute medical and community patient groups is essential.
The post will involve working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to assess and treat patients with the aim of maximising independence and facilitating prompt discharge.
Additionally there will be the opportunity to work with the Berwickshire Home First service to provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation support for patients at home and to help prevent hospital admission.
Please note: the salary quoted is for full-time hours (37.5 hrs per week). For appointments to part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rata.
