The target salary for this role is £51,500. This role is based at our college campus in Bircham Newton, Kings Lynn.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Personal Development Lecturer to join our team based at CITB National Construction College England East, at Bircham Newton, Kings Lynn.
The role purpose: To lead on providing high quality education and training for all learners that reflects the specialist
knowledge, skills and behaviours required in industry and society.
The Lecturer role will be active in the creation and delivery of high quality and inclusive materials and projects, inviting guest speakers and delivering Personal Development opportunities to our Apprentice learners who attend college. The role of the Lecturer also supports other teaching staff in the college.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
Minimum of a Level 3 qualification.
Experience of delivering the Personal Development curriculum in an education setting.
Level 5 teaching qualification (or commitment to achieve within two years of commencing course).
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Educated to level 2 or above in English and maths.
Excellent organisational skills.
Knowledge, skills, and experience in Microsoft Office 365
Desirable:
Higher level construction related qualification.
Higher level education related qualification.
Experience of apprenticeship delivery.
