We're seeking a Planning Maintenance Intern to join us in the team to support the Planning team with various tasks. This is great opportunity if you’re a Engineering graduate to join us on a full-time basis, working in our Temple Mills Depot This is a 6-month internship and salary for this role is £25,032 per annum + our benefits package. This internship will have the opportunity to travel to Brussels frequently.
Following the merger of Eurostar and Thalys, the production management for our entire European network is now centralised in Brussels. Within this framework, the Rolling Stock department faces an exciting challenge: supporting the company’s growth by enhancing the availability and reliability of our fleet.
The close date for this role is Wednesday 1st January 2025. We’re seeking an intern who can start as soon as possible.
We're looking for someone to:
* As part of this internship, your role will focus on analysing the performance of Eurostar Group’s fleet management systems within the Rolling Stock department.
* Your mission will be to conduct a comprehensive review of the processes used for planning maintenance and comfort operations for rolling stock, identifying opportunities to strengthen the system's robustness. Based on your findings, you’ll help to propose and implement practical improvements to existing processes and tools.
* To succeed in this role, you’ll first need to gain a deep understanding of the complex ecosystem in which railway production operates. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic team, contributing directly to the efficiency and growth of a leading European rail company.
Requirements
You'll need:
* Fluency in both English and French (oral & written)
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Some work experience and/or Interest in Engineering / Rolling Stock
* Organized, detail-oriented, and a team player
* Please note you will need to be available Monday-Friday, on a 35 hour week basis.
