Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager

We are searching for a Senior Manager to join our dynamic Group Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team who is ready to make a significant impact in a leading business.

What you'll be doing:
As the FP&A Analysis Senior Manager, you will play a key role in driving global financial planning and performance across the Aviva Group, working closely with the Group and BU FP&A Leads to deliver:
* Financial Planning: Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to bring together the Group Business Plan to achieve our strategic and financial goals for our Board approval.
* Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on performance against plans, targets, and prior periods, providing insights for Board and ExCo updates.
* Remuneration: Review metrics, targets and outcomes of our Remuneration Scorecards, aligning management incentives to those of our stakeholders.
* Insight Delivery: Provide valuable insights to understand risks and opportunities impacting our financial results, and support decision-making.
* Business Conversations: Working closely with market FP&A teams to support senior management in regular Quarterly Business Reviews and Monthly Performance Reviews.
* Change Agent: Support the team in driving change initiatives to improve efficiency and enhance outcomes through automation.
* External Reporting: Prepare support packs and analysis for the Group CFO and Investor Relations for external results announcements.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Financial skillset: Strong financial competence and commercial awareness, with the ability to navigate complexity and high demand. Accounting, Actuarial or Finance qualifications preferred.
* Communication: Strong written communication skills including through PowerPoint style presentation outputs, with the ability to convey messages in concise non-technical language. Audience includes the Board, Executive Committee, Non-Executive Directors (e.g. Remuneration Committee) and Finance Leadership Team.
* Risk and Controls: Proven ability to manage operational deliverables with a strong control mindset.
* Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with Business Intelligence models and workflow automation tools is a plus.
* Innovative Mindset: Forward-thinking, dynamic, creative, and adaptable, with a passion for developing new ideas and embracing change.
What you'll get for this role:
* Salary around £85,000 - £100,000 - depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
* Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
