To do this, we need talented and creative people across all areas to join us in delivering our evolution to enable our forward-thinking business over the next few years and beyond, and this is where you come in Job Purpose: The role of Global Head of Domain will consult and partner with the Global IT Delivery Director and the rest of the Global IT leadership Team to deliver the initiatives and operations of a specific domain, or across a number of grouped domains (functions/product areas) across City Electrical Factors (CEF) and City Electric Supply (CES). Leading with a consultative approach, this role will contribute at both hands-on and a strategic level to ensure that the business outcomes are realised, and the IT strategy is implemented. In conjunction with the Global IT Delivery Director, Business Domain Experts and the IT Leadership Team, this role will work to deliver a comprehensive set of domain services and a portfolio of transformative initiatives that will ensure that our business is at the forefront of the marketplace offering greater flexibility and agility to the business. The Global Head of Domain will lead a team of technology and business experts to ensure that the services meet the business needs whether created bespoke or using off the shelf software. They will collaborate with other Global Heads of Domain, Practice Leads, Platform and Enablement Teams on cross domain initiatives, sometimes taking the lead on these initiatives and other times where another domain head takes the lead. This position can be located in Dallas, Texas or England, UK and will report to the Global IT Delivery Director Duties and responsibilities: Lead the delivery of initiatives (SaaS, hybrid, bespoke software) for a specified domain(s), ensuring that the scope, timeline, budget and business benefits are achieved. Recruit, develop, coach and lead the domain team (working with the Practice Leads to ensure consistency and appropriate skill level) with the domain leadership fostering collaboration with other domains outside of your scope of responsibility. Lead effective performance outcomes for the domain team members and enabling standardisation and consistency across the domain. In conjunction with the Global IT Leadership and Enterprise Architecture source, select and partner and 3rd party partners to help deliver initiatives within your domain. Proactively partner and manage 3rd party relationships to realise value. Partner with the Global Delivery Director to facilitate the movement of resources across the Domains in line with capacity needs of the Domains, aligned to delivery priorities driven by the business. Area of Accountabillity: This role will hold accountability for one or more of the domains within the Experience Domains. The following provides the high-level detail of the attributes within these Domains: Customer Domain (defines and manages the information about customers, providing a full view of the customer across all departments or lines of business within the enterprise regardless of channel or touchpoint. Manages the complete lifecycle of the customer master data, managing the customer relationship and customer activity.) Sale Domain (manages the systems that process and track the point of sale transactions of the business, managing and capturing the payments and cash and building EDI services to facilitate these transactions) Order Fulfilment Domain (manages and provides solutions for the fulfilment operations of the business, including but not limited to receiving, processing, delivery, tracking and returns from the customer of the order. Working across multichannel and partnering/coordinating with multiple departments and outside partners) Essential Experience: Exceptional leadership capability. Able to create and lead inclusive teams across the entire landscape of IT and business to collaborate and work together to achieve results in a matrix organisation. Strong track record in leading large-scale business driven IT programmes of work successfully achieving the desired benefits and outcomes. Expertise in agile/lean/waterfall methodologies as well as operations and service management. Self-motivated and able to work without high levels of supervision. Ability to deal with and navigate through ambiguity and uncertainty, leading change and innovation with purpose Strong influencing and stakeholder management, able to influence with impact and courage Good attention to detail, a strong analytical mind and excellent organisational skills.
