Job Description:
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Clinical Lead (RMN) with expertise in eating disorders to join their inpatient hospital team for adults. This role is ideal for a nurse leader looking to remain in a clinically focused position while developing skills in operational leadership, quality improvement, and strategy.
This is a 14-bed, specialist eating disorder service for mixed-gender adults located just outside High Wycombe, with excellent transport links.
As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Clinical Lead will report to the Hospital Director and be responsible for overseeing clinical services, ensuring expert nursing care, and working closely with therapy colleagues and medical staff. You will also manage the nursing team, including the Ward and Deputy Ward Managers, and support the delivery of care alongside the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide clinical and operational leadership to the nursing team.
2. Ensure the highest level of patient care across all clinical departments.
3. Lead the development and delivery of hospital strategies.
4. Manage staffing levels, training, and development to maintain a highly skilled workforce.
5. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including CCQ, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act.
Requirements:
1. Professional NMC registration with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience.
2. Strong clinical experience in eating disorders and a commitment to continuous professional development.
3. A full, clean driving license.
4. Leadership and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment.
