We are recruiting for 2 Food Safety Inspectors/Emvironmental Health Officers.
1 x full time permanent - 1 x full time long term temporary
An overview of the position:
The primary function of the role is required to assist the Environmental Health Team with food hygiene inspections in the district alongside other statutory functions undertaken by the Food Safety Team, including meeting the requirements of the Food Law Code of Practice qualification.
The role of the Environmental Health Team is to protect and enhance public health and the environment as required by statute and the policies of central government and the council. This includes taking appropriate enforcement action as required.

In order to be successful, you will need to be an experienced Environmental Health Officer ideallt with registration to the Environmental Health Registration Board (EHRB).
You will also have the ability to organise and prioritise work effectively in order to meet deadlines and maintain high quality of services at all times.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships within the team and the wider organisation are essential
Financials & Hours of Work:
37 hours per week
Monday to Friday
Salary: circa £41, 567.00 - £47,516.00 per annum
