About the Role
As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist, you’ll manage complex workplace matters, provide expert guidance to managers, and ensure alignment with policies and labor laws in this highly regulated and innovative industry.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management
* Address employee inquiries and workplace concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex cases while considering the unique needs of the life sciences industry.
Managerial Support
* Advise managers on workplace issues and personnel actions.
* Assist in preparing performance improvement plans and corrective action documents, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
Investigations & Compliance
* Conduct investigations into workplace concerns, gathering relevant facts and making actionable recommendations.
* Ensure adherence to company policies and employment laws critical to the life sciences sector.
Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration
* Stay updated on employee relations trends and labor law changes.
* Share insights and collaborate with HR team members to strengthen organizational capabilities.
Customer-Centric Approach
* Foster trust through empathetic communication and encourage employees to utilize HR resources.
Policy Adherence
* Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and industry-specific guidelines, promoting a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in employee relations or a related HR role, ideally in the life sciences or regulated industries.
* Strong understanding of employment laws.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a tactful approach to sensitive situations.
* Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
