Role: Community Speech & Language Therapist Banding: Band 6 Location: Coventry Job Type: Temp Salary: £24.00 - £32.00 per hour The AHP team at Pulse is seeking an experienced Community Speech & Language Therapist to join our educational setting, serving 122 pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorders, aged 4-16 years. As the Head of Therapies, you will lead our therapy services, including Speech and Language, Occupational, and Art Therapists. Your mission is to develop and innovate our therapy services in line with the school’s objectives. Key Requirements: Assess, diagnose, and manage communication and swallowing disorders. Work with individuals, groups, and their families or carers. Formulate and implement management plans. Evaluate therapeutic outcomes and provide support. Work independently in various settings, including clients’ homes. Maintain up-to-date records and support AAC users. Write reports, attend case conferences, and participate in student placements. Manage resources cost-effectively and make referrals as necessary. Participate in clinical supervision and manage a defined caseload. Supervise assistants and conduct annual appraisals. Collaborate with other professionals and agencies. Maintain clinical knowledge and stay updated with new developments. Deliver training and support the Team Lead as required. Comply with NHS and professional codes of conduct.
