Day Shift (Monday to Friday)

The Position:
The company is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support the site maintenance systems and operations on site.

Skills & Requirements for an electrically biased maintenance engineer:
1. Apprentice trained, Electrical HNC qualification
2. Significant maintenance knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment
3. Practical hands-on approach to problem solving
4. Knowledge of systems to be maintained, will be working on PLCs
5. Knowledge of MODSOFT, Unity Pro, Concept, Siemens TIA programming software but not essential
6. Understanding AC / DC Machines
7. Understanding AC / DC Drives
8. 17th/18th IEE Regulations
9. Inspection and testing
10. Commercial understanding of the impact of failure/downtime of production and ultimately customer delivery
11. Ability to troubleshoot
12. Ability to follow a maintenance schedule and reactive maintenance
13. Ability to read electrical schematics
14. Self-motivated
15. Willingness to learn new processes
16. Able to work alone or as part of a team
Responsibilities:
The site runs an effective PPM system and as such is achieving great strides in a more planned and preventative maintenance system as opposed to a wholly reactive setup. Maintenance is planned in such a way that tasks are dedicated to set days/periods of shutdown allowing a more effective maintenance structure and working environment.
