Job Description
Required Skills:
* Experience in processing Aerospace and Defense parts from raw material to finished components.
* Expertise in creating 3D models and 2D drawings.
* Design and develop tooling and workholding fixtures for manufacturing.
* Proficiency in applying GD&T to manufacturing and tooling drawings.
* Create and manage process routers and BOMs within an ERP system.
* Solid understanding of general machining practices and requirements.
* Strong attention to detail, with experience meeting deadlines and accountability.
* Ability to identify manufacturing issues, gather data, analyze facts, and draw valid conclusions to support legacy parts and processes.
Skills (Training provided for qualified applicants):
* Proficient in Solidworks, Syteline, or Visual Basic.
* Experience working with superalloys.
* Experience with outside services or special processes.
* Hands-on experience with multi-axis machining (5-axis & mill/turn machines).
* Previous experience with customers such as Honeywell, Raytheon, and Rolls Royce.
* Job estimating experience.
* Continuous improvement experience.
Schedule: Flexible, with half-day Fridays.
Experience:
* Minimum 3 years as a Manufacturing Engineer.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 5+ years as a Machinist.
* Must be a U.S. or green card holder.
