We require a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and caring individual to work as a Phlebotomist.
Phlebotomists provide a high standard of cleanliness, which is imperative in our daily routine.
Main roles include taking patients' blood samples and communicating with patients.
We are hiring for one 12-month fixed-term position with the following hours:
* 18.75 hours per week
* Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 12:00 pm
* Includes one weekend shift (8:00 am - 12:00 pm) every 5 weeks

Main Duties of the Job
You will be working with a fantastic and supportive team who will assist you in settling within the team. Regular feedback and one-on-ones will be provided by your manager to ensure that you stay happy in your job.
It is essential that you are able to work in an orderly and systematic manner and possess good literacy, numeracy, communication, and organisational skills.
You should have a caring attitude, as well as the ability to work effectively under direction as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Previous experience of working in a hospital setting would be advantageous to this role; however, in-house training will be provided.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Care Certificate either upon appointment or within 12 weeks of commencement
* Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English and Maths Grade D-G)
* NVQ Level 2 in Healthcare or a Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship
Knowledge, Training & Experience
* Experience of working with members of the public or a desire to work in the Health Service
* Understanding of routine work procedures gained through a short induction period and on-the-job training
* Experience of working within a health or social care environment
* Experience of working within a team
Skills & Abilities
* Basic IT skills
* Good organisational skills
* Commitment to undertaking continuous professional development (CPD)
