Through understanding the needs of people you support, you'll provide exceptional care that truly can change their lives. Your role will involve however not limited to: • Helping people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities - empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences. • Getting involved in support in community as social activities or shopping trips. • Ability to communicate clearly is important considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too. • Assisting with Personal care and hygiene (if required) • Medication administration (if required) • Support with preparing and cooking meals. Cleaning, shopping, planning daily activities • Support with attending medical appointments • Support with social activities We have flexible shifts available for this role, working 20 Hours a week across 3 services within Hinckley. ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS: Previous experience with complex needs Willingness to learn Team player Flexible Valid drivers license Communication Additional Information Following the retirement of a long standing staff member, we are looking to recruit for our supported living service. The service is in a small village, just outside of Evesham. A Full UK driving license is a must due to location and the need to drive the people we support to their activities and appointments. The service is home to 4 gentlemen who need support with tasks such as shopping, medication and cooking. The service requires candidates to be able to start at 7am and work until late. Sleep in shifts may be available but are optional.
