Role Summary:
You will be responsible for supporting the current fabrication team in ensuring work is carried out to a high quality. This role is perfect for individuals looking to start or develop their career in fabrication, offering comprehensive on-the-job training and opportunities for career progression.
Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
* Assist in the fabrication of metal components and structures following detailed plans.
* Learn and operate tools and machinery, including drills, saws, grinders, and welding equipment.
* Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately.
* Maintain a clean and organised work space.
* Ensure production schedules and quality standards are achieved.
* Perform quality checks to ensure the durability of fabricated products.
* General maintenance of equipment.
* Complete relevant paperwork.
Experience and skills required for this position:
* You MUST drive and have your own transport due to location.
* Interest in fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field.
* Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.
* Basic understanding of hand tools and machinery.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Physical stamina for handling heavy and large materials and equipment.
* The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
