Job Title: Customer Insights Manager
Location: THG HQ (WA15 0AF) Office based 5 days per week
Why be a Customer Insights Manager at THG?
At THG, We are now recruiting an exciting new position for a Customer Insights Manager to join our Nutrition Marketing Team. The role centres on delivering consumer insight, conducting market research with our own customers, and consumers in the wider marketplace, to understand behaviours, attitudes and expectations – and using this to inform business strategies across the key territories we operate in.
As a Customer Insights Manager you’ll:
Key Responsibilities
Brand Tracker Management
* Act as the primary point of contact with the partner agency for multi-market brand tracking.
* Oversee resource management and fieldwork execution to ensure smooth research operations.
* Maintain a strong working relationship between internal teams and external agencies.
Data Interpretation & Reporting
* Analyse and interpret data from the brand tracking dashboard.
* Develop insightful reports and present findings to stakeholders and senior leadership.
* Shape the delivery of results in debriefs, ensuring actionable insights are communicated effectively.
* Integrate various data sources (e.g., marketing spend, sales data, social insights) to provide a holistic view of brand performance.
* Support qualitative and quantitative research projects across the business.
* Utilise internal resources (Myprotein customer community, THG Nutrition databases) or third-party agencies based on project needs.
* Conduct research across multiple markets, ensuring insights are culturally relevant and actionable.
Research Project Execution
* Take research briefs from stakeholders and translate them into structured research plans.
* Analyse data and create visually compelling reports with clear recommendations.
* Conduct a range of studies, including product ideation, concept testing, usage & attitude (U&A) research, and behavioral studies.
Customer Community Growth & Engagement
* Develop and expand the customer insight community.
* Build new avenues for gathering customer feedback to inform business decisions.
* Ensure the customer voice is integrated into product development, brand campaigns, and strategic planning.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?
* Experience in a customer insight role, either agency or client-side.
* Strong understanding of the principles of market research, and experience in both the quantitative and qualitative space. The role also requires brand tracking experience and an understanding of best practices in delivery of this research.
* Desire to take on a role with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, including management of projects from start to finish and overseeing relationships with partner agencies.
* Confidence in working from brief, through research design and fieldwork, to analysis and reporting.
* Strong analytical skills and an ability to create impactful reports.
* Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively and appropriately.
* Team player, able to work with multiple business units to achieve objectives.
* Able to effectively prioritise workload and manage multiple projects at once.
