This is a well-renowned company that has been trading for over 30 years and is currently on the hunt for a Field Engineer to join their growing team.
The role entails a mix of on-site fault support and on-site implementation work. The work has great variety in size and scope across a range of products and services, sometimes with more than one engineer and across multiple days. Field engineers often take the lead on planning installation work, including surveying, inputting to the solution design/quoting, planning with the end users, providing a statement of works, implementation, and final wrap up/handoff.
You must be a highly motivated engineer with a ‘can do’ attitude and a thorough, logical, and proactive approach to planning and preparing projects and delivering quality installations. You must be sufficiently skilled in our core product and service areas to bring varied solutions to fruition, on time and on budget, and to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
1. Installation of IT and Telecoms solutions
2. Onboarding of managed support services
3. Remote and On-Site support of customers
4. Planning and managing installation projects
5. Assisting sales and customers with solution design and recommendations
6. Working with CRM system to document and update project and service tickets
7. Driving sales opportunities from technical operations
Skills Required:
1. Field Experience
2. Physical Equipment installation & configuration (Routers/Switches/Firewalls/Servers/Cables) - ESSENTIAL
3. Installing IT hardware and services - ESSENTIAL
4. Wi-Fi installation and configuration (Ruckus & Ubiquiti/Unifi)
5. Knowledge of SIP and Broadband
6. Travel to client sites to carry out installation work
7. Onboarding of new customers
8. M365 Implementation

£25,000 - £35,000 Depending on Experience
