Job Description:
Main purpose of role: Managing the admin duties of the office.
Description of duties / Key responsibilities & daily tasks:
1. Responding to incoming emails & phone calls from customers.
2. Taking orders by email & phone from customers.
3. Processing orders & invoices.
4. Checking clients' accounts are up to date with payment terms.
5. Occasionally receive money from drivers or clients. All paid moneys/cheques from drivers or clients are logged on company receipt ledger and liaised with the accounts department.
6. Ensure Drivers have relevant paperwork.
7. Responding to customer requests.
8. Liaise with Head office.
9. Liaise with the purchasing team regarding stock.
10. Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth running of orders / customer requirements.
11. File relevant paperwork & ensure filing is kept up to date.
12. Visit head office as and when required.
13. If required, attend company trade shows / exhibitions.
14. Inform customers if any stock/delivery problems/changes.
15. Promote company products.
