Yardman – Chipping Sodbury
Our clients are seeking a reliable Yardman to maintain and organize their yard, handling a wide range of machinery and related plant equipment. This position requires a hands-on approach with a strong focus on safety, organisation, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• General yard duties.
• Washing and cleaning our fleet of plant, equipment, and company vehicles to a high standard.
• Loading and unloading company and customer vehicles.
• Supporting the Yard Manager.
• Forklift operation may be required so experience of this would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment within the yard.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience managing plant equipment or working within the construction industry is highly desirable.
• A positive attitude and flexible approach to work are essential to ensure a smooth operation.
• Strong communication and organisational skills to interact effectively with staff, customers, and visitors.
• A CSCS card would be desirable

• Full driving License
• The drive to learn & to adapt to new technology.
Job Type:
• Temporary to permanent for the right candidate
• Full-time Monday-Friday with optional Saturdays
Pay:
• £115.00 per shift based on 10 hours
