An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join the Children's Haematology/Oncology HSCT and Apheresis Service.
This exciting service is complex and quickly evolving. It supports patients requiring allogeneic and autologous transplants, as well as CAR-T therapy for haematology and oncology conditions. Alongside this, the team conducts associated apheresis procedures such as Extra-Corporeal Photopheresis, Stem Cell Harvests, and Red Blood Cell Exchange.

Main duties of the job
* As a Nurse Specialist, you would be responsible for patients' pre and post-transplant care, managing and supporting the patient and families from their initial assessment right through to their discharge home.
* Some experience and understanding of stem cell transplant would be desirable but is not essential. Full training and support would be provided.
