Key Responsibilities:
* Mortgage Application Support: Process mortgage applications by ensuring all required documentation is gathered and submitted to lenders in a timely manner.
* Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients to request any missing documents and provide updates on the progress of their applications.
* Compliance: Ensure all applications and documentation meet regulatory and compliance standards.
* Liaising with Lenders: Work directly with lenders to manage application queries, underwriting requirements, and ensure timely processing of mortgage offers.
* Protection Policies: Assist clients in understanding and applying for relevant protection products (life insurance, income protection, etc.).
* Administrative Support: Manage the administration of case files, update CRM systems, and maintain accurate records throughout the application process.
* Document Management: Ensure all relevant documents are uploaded and tracked in the company’s system, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
* Post-Completion: Assist clients with post-completion queries, ensuring the mortgage process runs smoothly after the offer has been issued.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with mortgage advisers, underwriters, and compliance teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Previous Experience: Experience working as an administrator or in a similar role.
* Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills with a high level of accuracy when managing client information and processing applications.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
* IT Skills: Proficient in using, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and mortgage software.
* Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to manage complex cases and resolve issues effectively in a timely manner.
* Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work well within a dynamic team.
* Clear DBS Check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
