Job Description
Key Responsibilities:\n\n * Conduct specialist CBT assessments for individuals with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and OSFED.\n\n * Deliver evidence-based CBT interventions, including CBT-E (Enhanced CBT for Eating Disorders).\n\n * Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, dietitians, and social workers.\n\n * Develop individualised treatment plans tailored to the needs of service users.\n\n * Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.\n\n * Provide psychoeducation and support to service users, families, and carers.\n\n * Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to confidentiality and safeguarding protocols.\n\n * Contribute to service development, training, and supervision of junior staff or trainees.\n\n * Liaise with external agencies, including GPs, community mental health teams, and inpatient services.\n\nEssential Requirements:\n\n * Accredited with BABCP (or working towards accreditation).\n\n * Postgraduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or equivalent.\n\n * Experience working with individuals with eating disorders in a clinical setting.\n\n * Strong understanding of CBT-E and NICE guidelines for eating disorders.\n\n * Excellent risk assessment and safeguarding knowledge.\n\n * Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.\n\n * Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with service users and families
