We focus on helping IT businesses to achieve their goals by enabling their sales and technical staff through highly interactive and engaging training events. These range from sales and pre-sales training through to in-depth technical courses. We believe in continual innovation in this fast-moving market and are now recruiting for a Trainer who is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest technology solutions from our key clients and delivering impactful training.
The role will be varied; flexibility, adaptability and the ability to learn about new technologies is vital. The primary focus of this role is to deliver technically focused training to a sales, pre-sales and technical audience. Whilst this will not be detailed “how-to” training – it will require an understanding of the challenges that pre-sales, solution architects and implementation engineers may face.
As our key clients are Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and Microsoft, an understanding of server architectures and operating systems is essential together with an understanding of storage architectures and networking.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain knowledge of current solutions by attending webinars, relevant current literature, take specific training courses and have regular dialogue with vendor SMEs.
* Learn how to deliver training using the Atrium method (with a detailed focus on the audience, their needs and their learning outcomes).
* Deliver a range of training from 1 hour virtual sessions to multi-day on-site events across EMEA and occasionally North America.
* Support the development and design of course structure, materials and documentation.
* Act as an internal SME for the development of videos and web-based training, created by our media team.
What skills will I need?
* Experience in delivering training, either as a trainer or as a technical consultant.
* Very good understanding of enterprise IT technology.
* An understanding and preferably experience of the IT channel.
* Ability to learn new products and skills quickly.
* Well-developed interpersonal and facilitation skills.
* Fluency in English.
Language:
Whilst Atrium delivers training in all main European languages, this role is for an English-speaking trainer. Ability to deliver training in another European language would be an advantage but is not a requirement.
Location:
Training is delivered either virtually or in person in many locations across Europe. However, working closely with content developers and other trainers, the expectation is that this will require 2-3 days per week working from the Staines office – especially during the first 2-3 months.
Job type:
Salary - £60k - £80k per annum based on experience.
This is a permanent, full-time role.
