Are you a Land Manager looking for a change of pace with a family owned developer?
We have the privilege of bringing this Land Manager opportunity to market, working with one of the leading independent housebuilders based in Stirling. This developer places their customers at the heart of everything they do and are keen on building not just fantastic family homes, but placemaking and creating legacies across their developments. They are keen to add a Land Manager to their team to assist with growth in pushing several planned projects through the pipeline.
Reporting to the Head of Land you will be responsible for:
* The identification of development opportunities for Board consideration.
* Preparation, management and negotiation of new land bids.
* Securing of land within budget in line with the Company’s acquisition programme.
* Securing of all necessary legal agreements to facilitate land purchases.
* The ongoing analysis of the existing land bank to advise on strategic decisions.
* The conversion of strategic development sites to Allocated / PPP status.
* Lead and co-ordinate External Consultants to support relevant PPP / LDP submissions.
* Lead and co-ordinate Pre-Development Meetings and input to Project Meetings.
* Negotiation and conclusion of any S69 / S75 agreements.
* Develop professional experience through CPD attendance.
* Develop network of industry / professional contacts to maximise development opportunities.
* Maintain working knowledge of latest Scottish Government / Local Authority Planning Policies.
* Maintain records and filing in line with required working procedures.
Key skills we are looking for include:
* Degree qualification in a relevant subject or where transferable skills can be demonstrated.
* Extensive knowledge of land development regulations.
* Proven experience in project management, including budget control, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and project feasibility.
* Proficiency in relevant software applications for design, planning, and project management.
* Full Driving Licence
