Position Overview:
The Stockroom Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of the stockroom, ensuring that inventory is well-organised, accurately recorded, and readily available for retail and e-commerce sales. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth stockroom operations, working closely with various teams to maintain product availability and support the overall efficiency of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the organisation, storage, and stock control of luxury leather goods and related accessories.
2. Ensure stock levels are accurately recorded and maintain systems to track inventory movements.
3. Process incoming deliveries, ensuring goods are inspected, tagged, and placed in their correct locations.
4. Work closely with the sales team to monitor product availability and ensure timely stock replenishment.
5. Lead and manage the stockroom team, providing guidance, training, and support.
6. Coordinate with the visual merchandising team to ensure stock is available for displays and sales.
7. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the stockroom.
8. Conduct regular stock audits and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
9. Assist with seasonal stock takes and manage returns and exchanges as necessary.
10. Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or issues to senior management.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Previous experience in stockroom management, inventory control, or logistics, preferably in the luxury retail or fashion industry.
2. Strong organisational skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
3. Proficient in stock control systems and inventory management processes.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work under pressure.
6. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
