We are partnering with an award-winning North East firm, as they look for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role is based full-time at their Gateshead office, supporting senior leadership with day-to-day financial activities. Salary will be dependent on experience, up to £36,000 per annum.
At least two years experience in a similar role is essential to be considered for this position.
Key Duties:
* Sales ledger and debt management
* Payroll administration
* Assist with cost management and financial forecasting
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders daily
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
Personal Requirements:
* Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role
* Have obtained or be studying towards AAT Qualification
* Basic knowledge of Bookkeeping and Cost Management
* Use of Xero is preferred (not essential)
* Strong communication, organisation and a drive to continuously improve
* Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
