Role Overview: Your responsibilities will include overseeing a range of inspection activities and plan assessments, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and signposting stakeholders to recognised legislation, standards, codes of practice and guidance. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all building works in the district meet the requirements of the Building Regulations and other relevant legislation and standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building regulations, legislation and standards. Collaborate with local authorities, construction professionals, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and compliant building projects. Drive continuous improvement in building inspection processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Manage workload and resources effectively to meet set targets, deadlines, operations to comply with our Quality Management System and the Building Safety Regulator published standards. Qualifications and Skills: Full membership with RICS or CABE. Commitment to continual professional development. Registration with Building Safety Regulator (Class 2 minimum).
