Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Supervisor (AST Supervisor) Location: North Scotland Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: 45 Hours Per Week Salary: £45,317 Total Salary (Inclusive of Competency Payment), Overtime, Company Van, £1,500 Bonus great company benefits An exciting opportunity has emerged for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Supervisor (AST Supervisor) to join our company to work with one of our major UK supermarket clients. This Area Site Technician Supervisor will lead the technical team in the delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance services. This role will require you to supervise your technicians and clients, ensuring good working relationships are maintained and built upon. Key Responsibilities: Safety Comply with the company Health and Safety Policy at all times. Complete all mandatory online training and Evolve modules. Ensure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all times Conduct emergency lighting tests and support associated repairs within scope where required People To ensure company policies and practices are followed and delivered consistently. To recruit, support, coach, motivate to ensure people performance is optimized. Attend / hold meetings (in line with meeting schedule) with your line manager and direct reports to ensure effective cascade of all City communications and ways of working. Attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments. Support the Area Maintenance Manager on all technical, people and FM process issues. Provide cover for the Area Maintenance Manager during times of absence, holidays and meetings, if requested. Ensure Technician’s overtime sheets and expenses are completed accurately and approved on time. Excellence Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times. Financial Responsibility This role is responsible for logging material spending and purchasing and supporting the Line Manager to ensure best value from 3rd party contractors Qualifications / Experience: Essential NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance. City and Guilds 18th Edition. AM2 / 2391 Experience in managing a mobile / field team of Technicians within a commercial (ideally retail) environment The ideal candidate: Full driving license. Experience using a PDA system. Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. commercial catering/bakery. Carried out PPM and reactive maintenance within a similar retail environment.
