This is a full-time position requiring the successful candidate to flexibly work 30- 40 hours Monday to Friday. We are seeking a dedicated Nursery SENDCo Specialist to join our team and help us create a home-from-home atmosphere for all our children. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that welcomes children and nurtures their development. Utilise a friendly approach to build relationships with parents, carers, children, colleagues, and external agencies. Implement interesting and inspiring activities that promote learning through play. Maintain accurate records and reports on children’s progress, interests, and achievements using SEND documentation Ensure that the support cycle for SEND children (Assess, Plan, Do, Review) is effectively implemented to meet individual outcomes and next steps. Communicate regularly with parents and carers through our Satchel app, face-to-face meetings, and report writing. Model best practices in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and parent information events, including occasional evening or weekend activities. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education and SEND (e.g., Level 3 or above) is desirable Experience working with children with SEND in an early years setting.
