Home Care Support Worker – Domiciliary Care

5 year sponsorship visa available if successful.

We are working with a reputable care home based in Glasgow who is looking for a domiciliary care worker.
37.5 Hour Contracts
£12.50 per hour
Job Types: Full-time
Standard working hours: Between 9am and 5.30pm
Key Responsibilities
* You will be driving to different clients' homes and giving all necessary support.
* To look after the emotional, cultural, and social needs of the clients using a person-centered approach.
* To physically assist clients and help them where required.
* To offer care that is based on dignity, compassion, well-being, and responsiveness to their changing needs.
* To create and maintain good professional relationships with clients, their family and friends, and other stakeholders.
Summary
As a Care Worker, you will be essential in providing compassionate support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Reporting to the Care Manager, your role involves utilizing your core skills in care experience to enhance the quality of life for clients. With premium skills in patient care, Alzheimer’s care, and hospice care, you will ensure that each individual receives personalized attention. A valid driving license is required to facilitate transportation for clients, while relevant skills in first aid and meal preparation will further enrich your contributions to our dedicated team.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in care settings, including assisted living and nursing homes.
* Strong skills in patient care, including Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
* Familiarity with hospice and senior care practices.
* Certification in first aid and CPR.
* Valid driving license for transportation needs.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and meal preparation.
* Experience in medication administration and behavior management.
