Job Description Product Lifecycle Management SME Full Time Derby What you will be doing: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product life Cycle (PLM) expert join the “Enterprise Systems and Digital Strategy” (ESDS) Team within Engineering, Technology & Safety (ET&S). Forming of a central team to reinforce the enterprise systems for engineering bases on the Siemens tool suite. The 18 Siemens solutions/digital threads. The central team within ET&S will underpin the Group direction of a Teamcenter first/Siemens first direction and is based on the Group contract with Siemens, which provides a very wide engineering Software package to the Rolls Royce Group. The position drives the digital tread within the entire group. It is essential to understand the users/business program and need to provide a coordinated solution design based on Siemens Engineering Software. The central team within ET&S Enterprise Systems is also an essential pillar to consolidate the 7610 tools/application within engineering. Driving the shift to Siemens Teamcenter (TC) will be based on a group wide TIME methodology to evaluate tools/applications (t…tolerate, i…invest, m…migrate, e…eliminate). Tool and engineering application standardization and harmonization is done to reduce IT load, training efforts, license cost and flexibility to allocate workload within the group. Responsibilities: In this role you will : Understand the business needs by aligning problem statements, epics, user stories with the users. Developing a target state and solutions design with IT experts and external partners like Siemens. Supporting the deployment of the solution and driving the user communication Driving migration projects and support user transformation to a standard solution Being the “go to” person within the group for your PLM field of expertise. Degree level qualification in a relevant subject preferable or equivalent industry experience of at least 5 years. Engineering or design experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM and Siemens CAD Nx.
