A client within the Public Sector based in the Northeast is currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join their Construction Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a construction environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to oversee the management and coordination of a new build site, ensuring that all construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical drawings and project specifications.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Managing site operations and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Overseeing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Reviewing and interpreting construction technical drawings.
Conducting scaffold inspections and ensuring site safety measures are met.
Approving timesheets and reporting progress to senior management.
