Job Title: Compliance Manager\n\nLocation: Portsmouth (with travel to sites in Portsmouth, Havant, Gosport, Fareham, and Winchester)\n\nContract: Full time, 37 hours per week, 6 months\n\nSalary: Competitive, dependent on experience up to £31.34 per hour\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are seeking a committed and experienced Compliance Manager to lead a newly formed Compliance team within Building Services. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring all statutory compliance duties across nearly 17,000 residential properties and 900 corporate assets.\n\nYou will manage and develop a team overseeing key compliance areas such as:\n\nGas servicing and repairs\nAsbestos management\nWater quality (Responsible Person for Water Safety)\nBuilding health and safety\nLift servicing and repairs\nMechanical and electrical servicing and maintenanceKey Responsibilities:\n\nLead a high-performing compliance team across multiple technical areas\nManage a significant annual budget (c. £10m)\nEnsure full statutory compliance and 100% certification across services\nOversee contract procurement, service delivery, and performance monitoring\nProvide strategic advice and support to senior leaders and other service areas\nFoster a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvementWhat We're Looking For:\n\nA degree in a property-related field and preferably Chartered (e.g.
