Business Support Assistant - Finance (3-Month Contract)
Hays is working with a local government organisation seeking a Finance Business Support Assistant on a 3-month temporary contract.
The successful candidate will support the finance department with various administrative and financial tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Invoice and credit note entry
* Monitoring email inboxes and dealing with basic queries
* Sending out letters via Docmail
* Producing and amending Excel reports from the Financial System
* Sorting Internal Post and ensuring this reaches the correct department.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a finance or administrative role is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
