Role: Creative Teaching Assistant
Salary: £80-95 per day
Location: Walsall
Protocol Education are looking for teaching assistants from creative backgrounds such as acting, drama, musical backgrounds to work in our primary schools in Walsall.
As a teaching assistant you will working both one to one and within a class supporting both your peers and students in a positive and engaging environment. Successful candidates will encourage students’ development, engage through sensory play & interaction, understanding social cues & skills, teaching independent living with students that have a diagnosis of special needs such as autism, speech and language difficulties and severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities.
These particular schools are looking for teaching assistants that can apply their creative skills within early years and primary settings and maintain an engaged and fulfilling learning experience.
Main Duties:
1. Engaging students through interactive and creative activities
2. Helping with sensory integration within the classroom
3. Working with the teacher to assess pupils' levels and ability
4. Ensuring the schools ethos and policies are being implemented
5. Liaising with parents and carers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
