The Opportunity Providing clear and prompt communication to customers throughout the full-sales cycle from product enquiry, order placement, manufacture and aftercare harnessing a “relationship first” ethos. Proactive prospecting and lead generation to identify and develop new business relationships through multi-channel sales strategies (research, phone and digital) Taking a diligent approach to sales administration, including producing sales invoices and coordinating with your colleagues across the business for smooth order fulfilment. Assisting the wider sales team in preparing proposals and scheduling appointments, meetings and travel arrangements. Support in market research to understand “what good looks like” to your customers, protecting the organisations’ competitive advantage. Participate in Trade Shows and Exhibitions acting as a brand ambassador for the organisation and seeking new opportunities. Using your consultative sales skills, you will have a passion for truly understanding your Customers’ wants and needs to provide a bespoke service that exceeds expectations. The Candidate You will be an experienced Sales professional, ideally from the Manufacturing industry (you will need to be handy with a tape measure) with a passion for learning and professional development. You will be self-disciplined with your time and resources with a proactive approach towards developing new business. As this role is predominantly office-based, you will need to be able to reliably commute to Telford daily.
