We are urgently recruiting for children's support workers in the Sheerness area. We need people who have experience working with children and young adults who have autism and learning difficulties. The clients live in their own home and the children's support worker will take them out for activities. Our clients are vulnerable adults between the age of 0-18 years old who have needs including: autism challenging behaviour learning difficulties. To become a children's support worker you must: be a driver have business insurance as the support staff will be expected to take clients out for activities such as shopping, social events, days out and appointments have experience with autism/learning difficulties be able to work after school, weekends and school holidays Requirements for Children's support worker Children's support worker shifts vary between 3 hour and 8 hours per day and are usually after school, weekends and school holidays. Experience is necessary due to the complexity of the clients we have. About Domiciliary Care Experts Domiciliary Care Experts specialises in working with service users and their families who require care in their own home. We offer a tailor made service of person-centred care. Our visit times range from 30 minutes to full live in support. We also have our own complex care department, DCE Complex Care. It provides care for people who have more complex care requirements with support workers who are fully trained and competent with tracheostomy care, gastrostomy care, epilepsy management, acquired brain injury and spinal card injuries.
