NRL are currently looking for Platers for a client in Teesside. This is for a long term, ongoing contract. Main Duties: Reading & Interpreting Engineering drawings; Measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting; Operating plate cutting machine where required and trained to do so; Assembling steelwork in line with engineering drawings; Maintaining material traceability during assembly; Aligning and checking tolerances; Tack welding fabricated parts together; Guiding overhead cranes and hoists where trained for moving and assembling plates; Responsible for cable management, general good housekeeping in working area; Working in line with strict adherence to Quality/Health & Safety Procedures Requirements Platers must be fully Time Served Dayshift Monday – Friday, 07:00AM - 15:00PM Due to the nature of the work applicants will be required to complete BPSS screening at the company’s cost.
